Watch D.O.G. Testimonials

Mrs. Widen:  “Watch Dogs help in kindergarten with small group jobs in the mornings. Whichever job I assign them to do, they enjoy interacting with the children, helping them to learn and grow.”

A.J. Fynan:  "The Watch D.O.G.S. program at Erving is a great chance to see how much school has changed in the dozen (or so) years its been since we were all in elementary school.  It's all the fun of lunch and recess -- without the spelling tests and writing lines!

"This will be my third year as a Watch D.O.G.S. dad.  Last year I took the day off and did it on my birthday:  the look of pride on our child's face was priceless the whole day!

"I can't think of a easier way for a guy to really get a feel for the exciting new culture at Erving Elementary.  It's a fun way to see firsthand the Leader in Me program at our school and to actively participate in it by being a positive male role model to the students and staff."

Danny Barnard:  "Watch D.O.G.S. is an amazing program. When volunteering you get to spend time in your kid’s classroom, help in the lunch rooms, play with the kids at recess and really be a role model for the kids. It's the greatest when you walk in the school and all the kids know your name and give you hugs or high fives. Knowing you’re making a difference in a kid’s day makes a difference in your day as well!"
